ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
Admissions Procedure
- B.Tech Admission Pattern
The students are admitted into four year B.Tech (UG) programmes based on two categories.
1. Category-A : 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, EAPCET through web counseling based on the EAPCET ranks of the candidates.
2. Category-B : 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates. Category-B seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates who have passed two year Intermediate Examination conducted by Board of Intermediate Education or its equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in the prescribed group subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible for admission. However, the order of priority for selection of candidates for admission is the rank in EAPCET, marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.
- Lateral entry ( Diploma Holders )
In each branch of engineering 10% of seats as supernumerary seats are allotted to Diploma Holders for admission into II Year B.Tech directly. Admissions into lateral entry for Diploma Holders are conducted by the Convener, ECET. Admissions through web counseling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET and the seats are allotted according to the reservations policy of Govt. of A.P.
- M.Tech Admission Pattern
- Embedded Systems: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with valid Gate score or eligibility at PGECET.
- VLSI: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering with valid Gate score or eligibility at PGECET.
- Power Electronics: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with valid GATE score or eligibility at PGECET.
- Machine Design: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent with valid GATE score or eligibility at PGECET.
- Computer Science & Engineering : B.E/B.Tech IT/CSE or its equivalent with valid GATE score or eligibility at PGECET.
- MBA Admission Pattern
- 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener based on merit in the ICET.
- 30% of the seats are earmarked for Spot/Management candidates.
- Polytechnic/Diploma Courses
- Candidates can opt the college after clearing their POLYCET exam under convener quota, and candidates can also apply for spot admissions without POLYCET.
- Candidates seeking admission in Polytechnic Diploma Program should have passed 10th class and must have secured not less than 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) before taking the admission.
